Private Label FAQs
All our condoms, including Custom Condoms® and Private Label condoms, are cleared for sale as a medical device. Meaning, all our products are intended for the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy.
The Custom Condoms® program, CustomCondoms.com, allows you to apply your logo or design to a variety of ready-made condom promotional items, such as condom keychains, wrappers, or condom cases. Condoms are classified as a medical device, and the packaging of condoms is overseen by the FDA. Because Global Protection Corp.® is the condom manufacturer, Custom Condoms® products cannot be repackaged into retail cartons (such as 3-packs or 12-packs). They can be sold online in bags, as long as Instructions for Use (IFU) is provided to the customer. But they cannot be sold in-store or in a retail setting. Because Custom Condoms® do not include retail packaging, the minimum quantities are much lower — such as only ordering 10 condom wrappers with a customized logo for a party or event.
The Private Label Program allows you to maintain complete creative control of your branded product. Choose from a variety of available condom styles, then customize the wrapper, and retail packaging. This program is intended for items that will be sold in retail or online. Therefore, the minimum order quantities for Private Label are much higher than for items intended just for promotional purposes.
Our products are made with the finest quality ingredients, and are cleared for sale as a medical device. Our condoms do not contain harmful chemicals. Global Protection condoms are free from: parabens, paraffins, talc, benzocain, nonoxynol9, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, and spermicides. Our condoms are gluten free, non-GMO,and do not contain any animal products.
Global Protection is here to help you create and grow your own condom brand. We offer two programs to support your growth:
1. Digital: The minimum order is 60,480 condom pieces.
2. Rotograuve: You can choose between a 432,000 condom pieces run, OR a smaller run of 288,000 condoms with a slight per-condom upcharge.
These are per condom style minimums. So, if you are planning on 3 different condom styles, the MOQ applies to each style.
Standard packaging choices are loose bulk condoms (no retail packaging), retail 3-packs, retail 12-packs, retail value packs (24-30 packs). Retail packs have a minimum order quantity of 10,000 units. If you commit to retail packaging, you must order a minimum of 10,000 units of each size. Orders must meet BOTH the retail carton order minimum AND the condom order minimum.
Global Protection offers a wide range of natural rubber latex condom styles for your brand, including multiple sizes, colors, flavors, textures, and thinnesses. See our pricing sheets for the full list of offerings. We do not have a non-latex version available at this time.
We provide PDF and Adobe Illustrator templates for the condom foils and retail cartons. These dies contain the regulatory and legal requirements for FDA and ISO compliance, ensuring your brand is eligible for distribution exclusively in the US market. You will customize the provided template with your branding, colors, text, and finishes.
Global Protection products are distributed around the globe. Our standard Private Label pricing applies to distribution exclusively in the US. Outside the US, standard MOQs may NOT apply due to the additional regulatory requirements of your specific country/regulating body. Global Protection supports brands operating in the following markets: US, US + Canada, UK, EU, India, and across the world!
In addition to high-quality condoms made by Karex (the world’s largest volume manufacturer of premium condoms), you receive the benefit of our experienced Quality Management services, and will fall under our liability insurance umbrella. That means you do not have to set up a quality department in your office. We handle all the quality and regulatory work, while you focus on building and marketing your brand.
We know clear timelines are essential for our customers to grow their brands. Condoms are a long lead item. Once you approve your artwork proof, manufacturing your custom product will take 16 weeks. Ocean transit from our facilities in Malaysia/Thailand to the US is approximately 10 weeks. For your first order, or any artwork changes, please add 4-6 weeks for artwork review and proofing. The average order will take 6 months from artwork approval to your product's arrival in the US.
A 50% nonrefundable deposit is due to begin an order. The remaining 50% balance is due to release the product from our facility in Lynn, MA.
Private Label customers are responsible for their volume of ocean freight used on a 40’’HC container to ship from Thailand / Malaysia to Boston. Customers will be billed for the volume their order uses on a shared container with other Global Protection Corp.® items. Customers are responsible for ground freight shipping from Global Protection Corp.®'s warehouse in Lynn to their final destination. Private Label customers are responsible for customs and clearance costs for their product. This includes import tariffs.
